It&#8217;s a relatively scarce butterfly, but that wasn&#8217;t why I was so excited. You see, when I was a child I had a book on butterflies and was fascinated by the white admiral and purple emperor. I spent many hours trying to spot them in and around my home in Gloucester &#8211; fruitlessly, since they don&#8217;t appear in many housing estates.<br \/>\nBut all of that means a that today&#8217;s small accomplishment was the final fulfilment of a childhood dream &#8211; wel, part of it anyway.
